Yesterday, Arawak Walton Housing Association had the pleasure of attending the CHP Tenant Conference, which brought together tenants, board members, and housing professionals from across the region for a day of learning, discussion, and networking.

We were especially proud that our Operations Director MIchael Redford who chaired the day’s events, helping to facilitate a range of insightful discussions and speakers.

Our Tenant Voice Chair, Elizabeth Webster, along with our newest co-opted Chairs, Jackie Wright and Sara Suheim, who also took part in a panel discussion, sharing their experiences and perspectives on tenant involvement and the importance of resident voices in shaping housing services.

The event was attended by both tenants and staff from Arawak Walton, providing a fantastic opportunity to connect with other tenants and housing organisations, exchange ideas, and learn from best practices across the sector.

It was an informative and inspiring day, highlighting the value of collaboration, engagement, and ensuring tenants remain at the heart of service delivery.

Thank you to everyone involved in organising such a successful event. We look forward to building on the ideas and connections made throughout the day.
