We are currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager (Sheltered Housing)

We are looking for a caring and organised individual to oversee all aspects of the smooth running of one of our ‘Over 55’s’ schemes.  In particular, the successful candidate will deliver a high-quality housing and support service to tenants and the wider community, promoting their independence, health and well being in addition to acting as a co-ordinator of care and support services provided by other agencies.

A key requirement of this job role is to encourage mutual support amongst tenants and promote social and community activities, in addition to the day to day management of the scheme and ensuring health and safety requirements are in place.

This job vacancy is part time at our Daisy Bank Court scheme, with the successful candidate working 20 hours per work over 5 days (Monday - Friday). The salary for this job is up to £25,252.00 (pro rata)

We are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer

Arawak Walton are looking to recruit a Housing Officer to join our Housing Team. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate that they can manage a busy and varied workload, meet tight deadlines, work effectively as part of a team and be committed to excellent customer service and equality, diversity and inclusion.  Ideally, the candidate will have experience of carrying out a similar generalist housing officer role.  

Key responsibilities of this post include: -  

  • Housing management of a designated patch, including proactive management of rent arrears.  
  • Proactive handling of void properties, lettings and terminations.   
  • Dealing with anti-social behaviour and issues affecting the community 
  • Resident and community involvement  
  • Estate management 
  • Providing benefits advice 
  • Court casework

This job vacancy is full time.  The salary for this job is £27,103 - £33,073 per annum (dependent on experience).
