Receiving Housing Benefit or Universal Credit help with your Rent?

If you are receiving Housing Benefit or Universal Credit help with your Rent, you may in the past have received a letter from us when your entitlement changed.  This letter would have been in addition to a notification letter sent to you by the DWP, and was to let you know your new shortfall payment.  In future, we will no longer send these letters.  You will still receive the notification from the DWP, but you will need to use our new Rent calculator to work out your own shortfall, and new payments.  You can find this here: https://arawakwalton.com/rent-calculator/

If you still need help, or you are in arrears, your Housing Officer is still available to assist you, and can be contacted on 0161 272 6094.  We hope this change will give our Housing Officers more time to focus on other issues that concern you.
