Property Assistant 

Salary up to £26,515 pa plus excellent benefits 

In this role you will develop a breadth of experience in relation to the main areas of compliance and you will be the go-to person for system and administration support across our Compliance, Assets and Property Delivery teams. You will build up a solid understanding of the property side of housing associations, but also understand how this links in with the wider work of our association - this role could be an excellent first step into a career in the housing sector.

Your role will involve updating various internal systems and therefore excellent IT skills, including Microsoft and experience of working with databases and online systems is essential. You will become a ‘superuser’ of our H&S / Compliance management system and you will help other staff members and assist in training on its usage as well as being involved in suggesting improvements to compliance administration.

You will need to have a high attention to detail and adopt an organised and methodical approach to processing to ensure deadlines are met and records are kept accurately.

You must have the ability to work effectively both in a team environment and using your own initiative in a fast-paced environment. Whilst predominantly computer based, there will be opportunity to work closely with other Ops teams and departments, and as a smaller organisation, you will have both telephone and face to face interaction with suppliers, contractors and tenants, so excellent communications skills are also a must.

Customer Services Assistant 

Salary up to £26,515 pa plus excellent benefits 

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our new Tenant Services Team.

The role will involve assisting our customers with requests for repairs, paying their rent and processing applications for housing and maintaining the association’s waiting list. You will also provide an effective reception service and telephony service. Full training will be provided but you must have excellent communication, IT and numeracy skills.

You should have a flair for customer service with a keen interest in helping people. You must also be able to able to prioritise, work under pressure and be committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
