July 3, 2019Plastic Free July is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution so that we can have cleaner streets, oceans and beautiful communities.
Throughout July people are being encouraged to take the Plastic Free July challenge in an effort to reduce single-use plastic waste at home, work, school or even at your local cafe.
Here are some simple ideas to help the campaign:
Plastic Straws – Refuse plastic straws when buying a drink & bring your own reusable alternative!
Takeaway coffee cups – Bring a reusable coffee cup or dine-in at your local cafe.
Meat, Fish & Deli – Avoid the plastic trays used for meat, fish and deli items
Plastic Shopping Bags – Bring your own reusable shopping bags and help reduce plastic waste
Plastic Water Bottles – Bring your own reusable water bottle instead of buying plastic ones.
You can also support Plastic Free July by donating. Your donations will support people and organisations around the world take the Plastic Free July challenge, to help create a world without plastic waste.
