Arawak Walton have been working with Northmoor Community Association on a campaign to make communities more age friendly.

The Take a Seat campaign involves placing seating inside local shops, meaning older people can have a rest when they are out in the community.

All shops who are involved in the campaign will display a sticker in the window to let people passing know they are an age friendly shop.

The launch is taking place at Northmoor Community Centre, 95-97 Northmoor Road, Longsight, M12 5RT on Monday 11^th November between 10:30am – 12:30pm.
