September 3, 2019Are you an employer operating in Greater Manchester?
What will Universal Credit mean for your business?
We would like to invite you to take part in a research study about Universal Credit and ‘in-work conditionality’, conducted by researchers in Manchester Metropolitan University Business School.
The research will explore employer views on/responses to proposed new expectations placed on working Universal Credit (UC) claimants (UC replaces Working Tax Credits) to increase their pay through progressing and/or taking on additional hours of work.
We are interested in gathering employer perspectives of UC, and the likely impact of ‘in-work conditionality’ on firm behaviour and productivity.
We are looking for HR Managers/Directors and Owner-Managers who are willing to take part in a confidential interview.
The interview will take no more than one hour, and can be scheduled at a time and place to suit you (phone/skype interviews are also possible).
Research findings will be published in October 2019 and will be made available to all participants.
If you are interested in taking part, or would like more information, please contact Dr Katy Jones at katy.jones@mmu.ac.uk or on 0161 247 6330.
