July 26, 2019The Charity Service’s aim is to help support a vibrant and sustainable Third Sector by providing assistance and expertise to make the most of gifts and donations and to help make financial resources available to charities, voluntary and community organisations and individuals.
The Charity Service currently administer four small grant funding pots ;
- Manchester & Salford Medical Charitable Fund – To assist with the purchase or supply of activities, amenities or items of a medical nature which are NOT supplied by the NHS.
- Cinderella Charitable Fund – To support the costs of a holiday for sick and convalescent children whose family are unable to afford to take them on holiday
- Pennington Charitable Fund – To assist disadvantaged, sick and infirm people and those living in poverty. Grants are issued to assist with the purchase or supply of activities, amenities or equipment which will improve general welfare.
- The Charity Service Discretionary Fund – To assist disadvantaged, sick and infirm people and those living in poverty.
